MARCH 1
THE HUMAN EQUATION
'Theater of the Mind' by Barrie Richardson (Page 100)
Barrie Richardson has some very inventive, theatrical effects and this is one of the best.
Six spectators come up on to the stage and each chooses a number between 1 and 10. They "shuffle" themselves and sit down.
The magician jots down 20 single digits and they are added up.
Mysteriously they add up to the six digit number formed by the way the spectators have arranged themselves.
Sounds complicated, but it plays very well and is a huge trick for stage, lots of audience interaction, and requires virtually no props!
