It's a small world!

Last night I did a show at the Bayside Church. It was a celebration of gratitude for all of the volunteers who help keep the Church running and, as the entertainment portion of the night, they called on me to do a spot.

The show went well, and the audience interaction entertained me as much as it did everyone else, but the highlight came after the show as I was heading off.

I was approached by a chap who turned out to have a very magical grandfather, none other than the legendary Tommy Parer.

The advent of television in 1956 made 'Parer the Magician' a household name and he became THE magician to an entire generation of Australians.
